This is a fully restored 1980 Fast Road Classic Austin Mini in Snowberry white. The restoration was extensive and used heritage panels throughout including a new front end, new sills (correct factory vented sills), new floors etc followed by a glass out respray, the car is like new! The engine and gearbox have been completely rebuilt by MED, its a Stage 4, 1380cc engine putting out 90bhp, this Mini is seriously quick!
Everything on the car has been renewed, or replaced for new including fully adjustable hi-lo suspension, fully adjustable shock absorbers, new subframes front and rear and the entire braking system has been renewed, full stainless exhaust, the Cibie Oscar rally spot lamps have also just been fitted by a classic Mini specialist and are wired in.
Internally everything has also been replaced for new including new carpets, mats and door cards new headlining and dashboard new wooden steering wheel, new window rubbers and fittings. The Corbeau GTB reclining buckets seats are also new as is the matching rear seat.
The car drives wonderfully, the engine is very powerful and sounds incredible and the gearbox is very smooth. Its tax and MOT exempt and comes with a massive history file including previous MOT’s & 2 keys (with immobiliser fobs)

- Crank reground and balanced with flywheel/clutch assembly

- High-lift roller tip rocker assembly Aldon “Yellow” vacuum-less distributor (AYP100)
- Lucas gold coil
- New oil pump, bearings, cam followers, gaskets, core and oilway plugs, duplex timing chain, etc.used during rebuild
- MED “Stage 4” Modified lead-free cylinder head with 10:1 Compression, 35.7mm inlet 31mm exhaust valve sizes
- Single rebuilt HIF44 SU Carburettor fitted with K&N Cone air filter assembly connected via standard alloy MG Metro inlet manifold
- Maniflow 1 7/8” LCB Exhaust manifold connected to 1 7/8” Maniflow twin-box exhaust
- Manifolds wrapped in exhaust insulation wrap
- Facet electric fuel pump at rear, Filter King fuel filter / pressure regulator fitted in engine bay
